From Classrooms to Laboratories: Revolutionizing Science Education Through Experiential Learning
Ankuran Foundation, true to its name derived from the Sanskrit word Aṅkuraṇ (अंकुरण ), meaning “to sprout,” is a not-for-profit venture that aims to bridge the gap between textbook-based education and practical experience-driven learning.
At Ankuran Foundation, we believe that education should extend beyond the confines of classrooms and textbooks to offer hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and improve knowledge retention. However, many students, especially those in government schools, are losing interest in science due to the limitations of rote learning, inadequate exposure to practical experiments, and the lack of well-equipped laboratories and tinkering opportunities.
To address the gap, Ankuran Foundation is building a nationwide network of Ankuran Science Learning Centres. These centres simplify the world of science and technology for students from Classes 6 to 12 by providing them with immersive learning opportunities that bring scientific theories and technologies to life.

Ankuran Foundation is especially committed to supporting students from government schools who lack access to essential learning resources, ensuring they are no longer deprived of quality science education and opportunities for intellectual growth.
